On 28 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Mr. Natee Vichitsorasatra, Minister Counsellor, paid an introductory courtesy call on Dr. Ali bin Saad Al Ali, Chairman of the Saudi-Thai Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, both sides reviewed the development of Thailand–Saudi relations. They also focused on promoting cooperation across all dimensions, including politics, economy, trade, investment, culture, education, tourism, and labour. They further praised the strong connection between the two legislative institutions through the regular exchange of visits at all levels over the past 3 years.
