The dialogue was jointly organised by Thailand's Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) and the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to advance cooperation between the two agencies under the Economic Committee of the Saudi–Thai Coordination Council (STCC). During the meeting, both sides exchanged knowledge and experiences on national development strategies, as well as the application of policy instruments, legal frameworks, and artificial intelligence (AI) to support evidence-based public policymaking and sustainable national development.

The dialogue reflected the continued progress in implementing the outcomes of the STCC and reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to advancing strategic cooperation with tangible results. Particular emphasis was placed on economic development, strengthening public sector capacity, and promoting knowledge exchange in support of the long-term development visions of Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
