On 10 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, together with Mr. Natee Vichitsorasatra, Minister Counsellor, Mr. Tanit Loipimai, Minister Counsellor (Labour), Mr. Kritawit Madhyamankura, Minister Counsellor (Economic and Investment), and Mrs. Fame Buddhavadhana, Counsellor, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Sultan Al Mosallam, Secretary General of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, to further strengthen relations and discuss ways to enhance Thai–Saudi economic and trade cooperation. Mr. Majed Al-Mutairi, Assistant Secretary-General for Enabling International Trade, and Mr. Osama Kokandi, Chairman of the Saudi-Thai Business Council, also attended the meeting.
On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed his sincere appreciation to the Federation of Saudi Chambers for its continued support of the Embassy’s work and the Thai private sector. The Ambassador also commended the important role of the Saudi-Thai Business Council under the Federation in promoting business cooperation between the two countries, particularly its active support for the Embassy’s economic and trade activities.
