On 1 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Mrs. Fame Buddhavadhana, Counselor, and Mr. Pichan Jamveha, First Secretary, welcomed Mr. Mohammed Bin Moammer, CEO of Coordinate for Medical Tourism Company, and Mr. Khaled Alasem, Business Development Manager of Flyday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed strategies to promote the Thai medical tourism market in Saudi Arabian market. They also exchanged views on the possibility to co-organize some social media activities to raise awareness on Thailand's medical advancement and its well-known hospitality among Saudi tourists.
