On May 17, 2026, Mr. Pongprach Makchaeng, the Thai Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, accompanied by Mr. Natee Vichitsorasatra (Minister-Counsellor), Mrs. Fame Buddhavadhana (Counsellor), and Pol. Sub. Lt. Pichan Jamveha (First Secretary), met with Mrs. Mayada Badr, Chief Executive Officer of the Culinary Arts Commission.

Both sides discussed the possibility to mutually promote Thai - Saudi culinary culture as well as the exchange of visit between the two countries' relevant agencies and the joint activities to boost better understanding through culinary art.
