On 9 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, together with Mr. Kritawit Madhyamankura, Minister Counsellor (Economic and Investment), and Mrs. Fame Buddhavadhana, Counsellor, met with H.E. Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Ibrahim, Assistant Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Petroleum and Gas Affairs. The meeting was also attended by senior executives and officials from the Saudi Ministry of Energy.

 

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the steadily growing bilateral relations and cooperation in the energy sector. Discussions also covered potential initiatives to connect Thai and Saudi private-sector companies in businesses related to Industrial Maintenance and Oil & Gas Services and the future cooperation between the two countries.
