On 9 June 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh, together with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), the Office of Labour Affairs in Riyadh, the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA), and the Saudi–Thai Business Council (STBC), jointly organised an online seminar entitled “Business Opportunities in Industrial Maintenance, Oil & Gas Services, and Technical Solutions in Saudi Arabia.”

 

The seminar attracted more than 90 participants from both Thailand and Saudi Arabia, representing a wide range of sectors, including industrial maintenance services, oil and gas, construction, engineering, and renewable energy technologies. Participants received valuable insights from Thai and Saudi experts on investment opportunities, incentives for foreign investors, and Saudi labour regulations. The event also provided a platform for Thai and Saudi companies to introduce their businesses and explore potential partnerships.

 

The strong interest and active engagement demonstrated by participants reflected the growing opportunities for Thai businesses in Saudi Arabia, particularly in the oil and gas and industrial services sectors. The Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand will continue to build on the momentum generated by the seminar and work closely with partners to translate these opportunities into tangible business outcomes.
