On 7 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Pongprach Makchang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met H.E. Mr. Nasser Al Ghanoom, Director General of the General Administration of Asian Countries, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Both sides discussed ways to further promote bilateral cooperation through the Saudi-Thai Coordination Council (STCC), as well as possibilities to co-organize activities to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations next year.

Later on the same day, the Ambassador also met with H.E. Prof. Dr. Emrullah İşler, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Saudi Arabia, upon the Ambassador’s assumption of duties.
