Procedure for Thai visa application for Lebanese nationals and foreigners

residing in Lebanon from 28 May 2021 onwards

1. Lebanese nationals residing in Lebanon or foreigners who stay legally in Lebanon,

        who wish to apply for any kind of visa to enter Thailand, must contact the Royal Thai

        Embassy in Riyadh by email at [email protected] and should do so at least

        1 month before the departure date for Thailand.    

2. After initial verification of necessary documents, in electronic files, required for each

         visa, the Royal Thai Embassy in Riyadh will issue a reference number and instructions

         for the applicant via email.

3. The applicant appoints a representative in Riyadh and sends a copy of Saudi Identification

        Card of the representative to the Embassy via email.      

4. The applicant sends [1] passport [2] duly-filled and signed visa application form

         with one affixed photo [3] original documents required for visa (if needed)

         to the representative in Riyadh.

5. The representative of the applicant, via email, requests an appointment with the Embassy

         to submit the visa application.

6. The representative of the applicant goes to the Embassy on the date and time

         of the given appointment, and submits, by hand, the visa application comprising

         [1] passport [2] duly-filled and signed visa application form with two affixed photos

         [3] original documents required for visa (if needed) [4] visa fee in cash in Saudi riyals.

         The representative receives the passport with the affixed visa sticker and the receipt

         of the visa fee as well as original documents (if any). [If all requirements are met,

         the representative will be able to get the visa in the same morning]         

7. The representative sends the passport with the affixed visa sticker and the receipt

         of the visa fee as well as original documents (if any) to the applicant in Lebanon.

Remarks

• The representative in Riyadh of the applicant can be any individual or employee

         of a travel agency who possesses a Saudi Identification Card.   

• The applicant and the representative in Riyadh shall be responsible for the loss

         or misplacement of passport and other original documents during deliveries

         between places in Lebanon and Riyadh (if the loss or misplacement occurs).      

• Foreigners of certain nationalities are eligible for visa exemption: enter Thailand 

         for tourism with an ordinary passport without a visa and be allowed to stay for 30 days.
